RealitYouth is a community of Jr. and Sr. school students, who wrestle with what it means to really follow Jesus. Our vision is to raise up interdependent young believers who are firmly established in relationship with Christ and His church, and prepared to reach their generation with the reality of Jesus Christ.

This summer we are going to an every-other-week event schedule. However, on our off-weeks we will be playing Ultimate Frisbee at Lents park from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This will be a fun time to just hang out, have fun, and hopefully begin to reach the youth of our community. Each night of Ultimate Frisbee will end with a word from one of our leaders and lemonade, so come on out!!
JULY:
21st-Lents Park: Meet at 6:00pm on the football field (on the corner of Holgate and 92nd Avenue) for a fun time of Ultimate Frisbee!
28th-Service Project-Portland Rescue Mission: Meet at church @ 9:30am will go till 2:00pm, pool party at Hall's directly after till 7pm
***Please wear work clothes and tennis shoes. We will be doing yard work for the ministry Drive Away Hunger, a ministry of Portland Rescue Mission where people donate their cars to get repaired and then given away to low-income families.
AUGUST: A month of water fun!!
4th-Lents Park: Meet at 6:00pm on the football field (on the corner of Holgate and 92nd Avenue) for a fun time of Ultimate Frisbee!
11th-Water Games 2:00pm to 5:00pm @ Portland Open Bible. Please dress appropriately. Bring a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and a water gun. A prize will be given to who ever brings the biggest water gun!
18th-Lents Park: Meet at 6:00pm on the football field (on the corner of Holgate and 92nd Avenue) for a fun time of Ultimate Frisbee!
25th-Wild Waves (Seattle, WA area), Meet at Portland Open Bible at 7:00am COST: $40.00 Please bring a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and snacks for the ride.
SUMMER CHALLENGE:
Before we even jump into our awesome summer schedule we want to start out the summer right with a challenge that will not only be difficult at times but will make a huge impact on our teens and their walk with God. This summer we want to challenge our teens with a Bible reading plan- A 90 Day plan to read through the Gospels. With all the extra time they (might) have on their hands, we want them to be in God’s word. Summer is a time when teens face so many temptations and we want to give them the tools to stand up against these temptations in their life. So encourage your teen to be a part of this challenge and see God’s word make a positive impact on their life!
